Tavern on the Green is an iconic staple that shouldn’t be missed in NYC. Originally designed by Calvert Vaux, Tavern on the Green was built as a sheep fold in the 1880’s to house the 700 Southdown sheep that grazed in Central Park’s Sheep Meadow. Wayan Restaurant is a French-Indonesian dining establishment located in Nolita. Zaytinya is a Mediterranean restaurant located inside the Ritz Carlton NoMad that specializes in mezze, or small plates. The restaurant is owned by celebrity chef José Andrés.
